GREGORY S. THOMAS, SR.  ​

On Thursday, April 11, 2013, he went home to be with the Lord. He was a 29-year veteran of the Metropolitan Police Dept. retiring as a Captain. He was currently employed at the Court Service Offenders Supervisory Agency as a Community Relations Specialist. Survived by wife, Suzette; son, Gregory, II; daughter, Dorothy Langley; two grandsons, Cory and Christopher; siblings, Larry (Dorothy), Michael, Barbara and Sharon; as well as a host of relatives and friends. Public viewing services will be held Thursday, April 18 from 5 to 8 p.m. at MARSHALL-MARCH FUNERAL HOME, 4308 Suitland Rd., Suitland, MD and Friday, April 19 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service, 11 a.m. at the New Bethel Baptist Church, 1739 Ninth St., N.W. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.​
